We offer a great range of accommodation, catering and activity packages as well as the option of Survivor Mud Course, Indigenous Programs, Horse Riding/Equine Care and Laser Skirmish onsite. All our activities, unless self-guided, are facilitated by our qualified, enthusiastic and experienced staff.

Camp Thunderbird is able to accommodate over 120 guests in our rustic Bunkhouse Accommodation. We have an Upper (8 Rooms with 8 beds) and Lower Bunkhouse (7 Rooms with 8 beds) and each has a Leaders’ Room with table and chairs, bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Each bunkhouse has male and female amenities and a token operated commercial washing machine and dryer. Secluded 2 Bedroom Bush Lodges near the Bunkhouses (4 singles and 1 double bed), beautiful Creek Lodges, Superior Rooms and Campsites are also available.

The Sapphire Recreation Building has a kitchen and large dining / workshop room with an open fireplace, as well as an outdoor barbeque area. There is also a fire pit, with permanent seating, which is great for a bonfire night.

THe Bush Lodge for the September camp , free of charge, so that all teachers are able to use the Bush Lodge shower rather that the bunkhouse amenities and the accompanying Australian teacher has a room in the Bush Lodge to herself. The other option is to put aside the Lower Bunkhouse amenities solely for teacher use…
